Nora Brooks is an award winning history teacher who does more than recite dates or ask questions about certain wars or people. She introduces their personalities and brings you into their important relationships to give all of us a better understanding of their lives, loves, & losses. Her ability to weave history, biography, and personal relationships together is amazing and memorable. Wearing authentic dress of the period, she brings the character to life! Don't miss this wonderful performance!
She will bring to us the life of Anna Morrison Jackson, widow of Thomas Jonathan Jackson, who was better known as Stonewall of the Confederate States of America. Anna's personality and character and her convictions during their relatively short marriage and her longer life without him and her personal ties to the Charlotte area and the Presbyterian church will convince all of us that we are indeed listening to the real Anna as she lived the narrative she will share with us.
