New Sanctuary Capital Campaign

“the church exists where the Word of God

is proclaimed and the Sacraments

are rightly administered.”

- John Calvin, A Founding Leader of Presbyterianisim

At the very core of our Presbyterian heritage is the belief that the sanctuary is a lasting and sacred space, where the Word of God is proclaimed and the Sacraments are rightly administered. Since SMPC’s first worship service at McAlpine Elementary School in February of 1991 it has been our desire to someday build a permanent sanctuary. Today “someday” has come: the Session has commissioned a Capital Campaign Committee to pursue construction of our permanent sanctuary.
