The Outreach Committee meets monthly to find ways that SMPC can make a difference

and become more involved in our local community. We are working on strengthening our

existing outreach and finding new ways to serve in our

community and we invite you to be a part of this vital ministry.

Salvation Army Women's & Children's Emergency Shelter

On the first Saturday of every month we will prepare and serve an evening meal to the

residents of the Salvation Army Women's & Children's Emergency Shelter of Charlotte,

and we need your help! There are three ways you can help.

- Prepare the main course and dessert

- Receive the food at SMPC and assemble it

- Deliver the food, prepare side-items and serve the clients at the shelter

We will be looking to our congregation to become an active part of this much needed ministry.
