Community Outreach is divided into the following areas of ministry: Hunger Ministries, Adult Ministries, Youth Ministries & Construction Ministries.

The committee meets monthly to seek ways that SMPC can impact the lives of people in need and become more involved in our local community (Mecklenburg and Union counties). We strive to provide opportunitites to SMPC members to grow in their faith by making use of their individual time, talents and treasure. We welcome your questions, comments and ideas; please contact any committee member.

Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. Jesus also said that the second commandment is just as important—to love your neighbor as yourself. At SMPC, we strive to live into these words with our Community Outreach. We want individuals, families and groups to find a place to reach and serve those who are lost and needy in our area.
